The effect of cold is visible from Jammu-Kashmir to Delhi and Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan. The minimum temperature in Srinagar has reached 0 and in Leh it is minus 10 degrees. Here in Delhi and Jammu it has come up to 8-9 degrees. It has gone up to 11 degrees in Jaipur, Chandigarh, Dehradun and 6 degrees in Shimla. In such a situation, warm clothes have become necessary. The mercury is continuously falling in UP as well. In many cities of the state, the temperature is running between 11 to 13 degrees.

Mercury came at 8 degrees in Delhi
Talking about the weather of Delhi, on Wednesday, the mercury dropped three from normal and recorded the lowest eight degrees Celsius in the season so far. Earlier on Monday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 8.6 degree Celsius. The Meteorological Department has forecast that the mercury will fall further in the next 24 hours. Along with this, there will be fog in the morning.

Forecast of rain in Tamil Nadu and surrounding areas
According to private weather forecasting agency Skymet, the pressure area over southwest Bay of Bengal has now turned into a deep low pressure area. Now it will move in northwest direction towards North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh. Under its influence, light to moderate rain is likely at a few places over Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar and Coastal Andhra Pradesh in the next 24 hours. Isolated rain may also occur over Interior Karnataka.
