On this day, people bow to the setting sun and pray to Chhath Mata that their life should be as bright as the sun that rises tomorrow. Although Chhath is celebrated all over the country, but this year’s view on the ghats of Lucknow is different.
This time the ghats of Lucknow were decorated with colorful colored lights for Chhath Puja and all facilities were also made available there. When everyone was offering Arg to the setting sun, today UP Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak was also seen on the ghats of Lucknow. He also saluted the setting sun in a traditional way and then took stock of the facilities there. During this, Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra, Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia and others were also present with him.
