In search of the shooters of Umesh murder case, STF and police also raided the places in West Bengal where Ali and Ashraf were hiding during absconding. Police teams also conducted searches in Nepal along with five states on Friday.
Search is being done in Dharamshala, hotel and apartment. Police is interrogating suspicious people in Prayagraj, raids are being conducted on the basis of whatever information is being received from them.
STF and police teams are conducting raids in Jharkhand, Bihar, Punjab and West Bengal. West Bengal has the maximum number of teams. Actually both Ali and Ashraf had taken refuge in West Bengal during their absconding. Ali had even rented a flat in the apartment with his friends.
When the STF raided, he had escaped from there shortly before. It was said at that time that one of the policemen had informed him. Similarly, the area where Ashraf was hiding was also searched.
