Late Sanjeev Chaudhary, son of Dushyant alias Faiz (25), a resident of Chitrakoot Colony of the area, committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan at 4:30 am on Sunday. After the incident, a case has been registered against Dushyant’s cousin Johnny’s Tahrir for abetting his wife Farha, brother-in-law Amjad, father-in-law Hanif and others to commit suicide. Dushyant had a love marriage with a girl from another community three years ago. The family alleges that he has taken this step under pressure to convert.

His relatives had accused the police of committing suicide under the pressure of religious conversion. A case was registered against Farha, his father Hanif, a resident of Old Tehsil Kotwali and other accused. The correct situation will be revealed only after questioning Farah and her family members. At the same time, no evidence of his marriage and conversion has been found with Dushyant’s family members.
Will protest if the accused are not arrested
Activists of Hindu Jagran Manch met SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan along with the family members of the victims to demand the arrest of the accused in the case of Dushyant’s suicide. The relatives also met DM Deepak Meena on Wednesday.
He said that action should be taken against those responsible for this incident. If the accused are not caught, agitation will be held. He has also demanded to increase the section of conversion in the case.
