An uncontrollable truck hit a bike rider on Thursday night on Hridaypur Ring Road in Varanasi and fled while trampling. In the accident, the employee of the bike rider private finance company died on the spot. On information, the police took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem. There has been uproar among the family members since the news of the accident.
Mahesh Kumar, a resident of Chukha village of Chaubepur and Vikas Tiwari, a resident of Chaubepur Parnapur, used to do vehicle recovery work in a private finance company. Both were returning from Harhua to Chaubepur on different bikes on Thursday night. A truck coming from behind hit Mahesh’s bike in front of Hridaypur village on Ring Road. The truck moved forward crushing Mahesh who fell on the road along with the bike. After the incident, the driver fled towards Sandha with the truck. Mahesh was the second of three brothers and one sister.
