Mumbai: Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPCC) has released the vacancy for 8,169 posts. Under this, the Services Combined Examination of Maharashtra Non-Gazetted Group B and Group C will be organized on 30 April 2023. This exam will be conducted at 37 district centers of the state. Whereas the Combined Main Examination of Maharashtra Non-Gazetted Group B Services will be held on September 2, 2023 and the Combined Main Examination of Maharashtra Group C Services will be held on September 9, 2023. Through these vacancies, recruitment will be done in the administrative department of various ministries. 70 posts of Assistant Room Officer are to be filled.

Maharashtra Public Service Commission has 8 vacancies. 159 posts of State Tax Inspector in the Finance Department and 374 posts of Sub Inspector of Police in the Home Department will be filled. Apart from this, a total of 6 posts of Sub Inspector State Excise are to be filled in the Home Department. Vacancy has been removed for 468 posts of Tax Assistant in the Finance Department.

Maximum 7,034 posts of Clerk Typist

In the Administrative Department of the Ministry and various offices of the State Government, the maximum number of vacancies of 7,034 posts of Clerk Typist have been removed.

Resolved to give jobs to 75 thousand people

The Shinde-Fadnavis government of the state has resolved to fill 75,000 vacant posts in government offices on the Amrit Mahotsav year of independence. Under this, vacancies of more than 8 thousand posts have been removed by MPSC. On the other hand, the Home Department is rapidly moving forward the selection process to fill 18 thousand 500 posts of police constables. Apart from this, the recruitment work for 10,127 posts in the Public Health Department will start soon.

Help of private companies to prevent rigging

The Maharashtra government has decided to conduct the examination with the help of private companies to deal with the paper leak and other problems of rigging in the government services examination. For this work, it has been decided to conduct examination through TCS, IBPS and MKCL.
