Big action on Air India in case of urination;  Thothawala fined Rs 30 lakh, pilot suspended


New Delhi : Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has taken major action on Air India regarding the incident of urination in Air India flight on 26 November 2022. Taking strict action, DGCA slapped a fine of Rs 30 lakh on Air India. Not only that, the DGCA has also suspended the pilot’s license for three months. Along with this, the operators of Air India’s flight services have also been fined Rs 3 lakh.

7 January accused Mishra stuck in Bengaluru

On 26 November 2022, Delhi Police arrested Shankar Mishra, who was accused of obscene act and molestation in front of an old lady passenger in Air India flight. Accused Mishra would have been absconding for many days. Police would have arrested the accused from Bengaluru on January 7th. These ghastly acts with Shankar Mishra i.e. alcohol addict woman would have been banal.

Air India has imposed air travel ban on accused Shankar Mishra for 4 months in connection with urine immersion or Ghanerdya case. Accordingly, Shankar Mishra will not be able to travel in Air India flight for four months.
