New Delhi: A big statement of female wrestler Vinesh Phogat has come to the fore amid the meeting with the Union Sports Minister. He said that, if the words of those people are not obeyed, then tomorrow he will protest again. Vinesh Phogat said, ‘We are keeping all the issues. If it was just a matter of wrestling, who knows, a solution would have been found in an hour’s meeting. This is not the case of one girl but of many girls. We cannot openly expose each and every one, in this way their lives and families will be in danger.

We’re presenting all issues.Had it been only about wrestling, matter would’ve been resolved in an hr-long meeting.But it’s a big issue. It’s not about just one but several girls. There will be a meeting at 6 pm

Wrestler Vinesh Phogat further said that, we kept our problems in front of the Union Sports Minister. He has given us another appointment at 6 pm. There were some issues on which we were dissatisfied. He said that we are demanding justice. All the wrestlers are with us. He reiterated once again that the existing wrestling association should be dissolved.

Inconclusive meeting with Sports Minister

A meeting of top Indian wrestlers with Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur on Thursday night proved inconclusive as they refused to back down from their demand for the government to dissolve the WFI immediately. The marathon meeting began at around 10 pm on Thursday, the second day of the wrestlers’ protest against WFI president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.
