A unique Rangotsav will be held on Rangbhari Ekadashi in Banaras, the city of seven times and nine festivals. There will be an opportunity to sing Baba Vishwanath. Devotees of Shiv will play Holi of Gulal in the streets of Kashi in the presence of Baba. Vishwanath street will turn red with the shower of Abir-Gulal. With the arrival of Mata Gaura’s procession to Gauna, the gaiety of Rangbhari Ekadashi has enveloped every nook and corner of Kashi.
Mata Gaura’s home resounded with auspicious songs along with the reception of the baraat. On Friday, Baba Vishwanath will go out in the streets of Kashi with Mata Gaura. Along with the Palki Yatra, there will be gaiety of Rangotsav in Kashi. On Thursday, on the eve of Rangbhari Ekadashi, a grand reception was held for Gauna’s wedding procession at the former Mahant’s residence at Tedhineem.
Baba was welcomed with ‘Rangbhari Thandai’
The housemates sprinkled thandai and rose water on the bridegroom Baba Vishwanath. Enjoyed with fruits, nuts and ‘Rangbhari Thandai’. The rituals and rituals were performed under the supervision of Pt. Sunil Tripathi. Baba was welcomed at his in-laws house by Jagjitan Pandey, General Secretary of Dharmasangh Education Board.
