Nagpur. Jaripatka police arrested the youth who raped and assaulted the girl. The arrested accused was called Monal Rajendra Meshram (27), a resident of Jaripatka. The 17-year-old victim also lives in the Jaripatka campus. In October 2020, Monal befriended Kishori. Trapped her in Premjaal and gave her the promise of marriage. In the absence of family members, he used to invite the victim to his house. Used to rape her.
Some time back he forced the victim to live with him. The victim also pretended to get a job and went to live with Monal. 3 days ago, Monal abused and assaulted the victim after drinking alcohol.
He had manhandled her earlier also, that’s why the victim returned to her home and told the whole thing to her mother. A complaint was made in the police station. Police arrested Monal after registering a case under various sections including POCSO Act.
