Raebareli: Uncontrollable car broke the gate of railway crossing, passenger train stood for an hour

Uncontrolled car broke the 1-Savaiya Dhani railway crossing located on the Unchahar railway section of Rae Bareli and got stuck on the middle track, due to which the RUC passenger going to Rae Bareli had to be stopped on the way. RPF took the car out of the track and started the train by chaining it. During this, the train stopped on the way for about an hour. A case has been registered against the car driver.

The RUC passenger going from Kanpur to Rae Bareilly was flagged off from Unchahar station on Sunday night. The gateman closed the crossing as soon as the train left the station. During this, the car coming from Kanpur got uncontrolled and collided with the crossing and broke its boom and got stuck in the middle track. Seeing this, Gateman Rajeev Kumar Patel hurriedly gave a danger signal to the train, due to which the train stopped on the way near Vyavar village. Information was given to the station.

On receiving the information, the RPF team reached the spot, took the driver into custody and took the car out of the track. The gateman sent the train forward by chaining it. During this, the train stopped on the way for about an hour. The repair work of the gate could not be done in the night. On Monday morning, senior signal engineer Taufiq Ahmed reached the spot along with the railwaymen and repaired the boom and normalized the traffic.

On the other hand, RPF has registered a case against car driver Ajit Mishra s/o Vasudev Mishra, resident of Narai police station Sangramgarh district Pratapgarh. Station Superintendent Vinod Kumar Tripathi told that the car had broken the gate. A case has been registered against the driver.
