The Founder’s Week celebrations of Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad started on Sunday with a procession amid conch shells. When the procession passed through the major intersections of the city, patriotic songs resounded in Fiza. Representing the procession in different uniforms to the tune of the national anthem, the students of educational institutions filled the atmosphere with enthusiasm.
The Chief Guest, former Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria announced the start of the procession and then sent it off by giving a salute. After the national anthem, the procession came out with full discipline amidst the sound of conch shells. Commitment, dedication and discipline were all visible in the procession.
‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ with various tableaux, Vande Mataram, will go to village and village to bring social equality, will become one and will become noble, unity in diversity is the specialty of India, different language, different dress, yet our own country, we all belong to India Lal, where is the question of untouchability, the deafening slogans of Swachh Bharat, Swasth Bharat, etc., kept reverberating in the venue till all the tableaux of the yatra were taken off one by one.
Earlier, the chief guest and the Chief Minister hoisted the national flag and offered floral tributes to the statues of Maharana Pratap, Brahmalin Mahant Digvijaynath and Mahant Avedyanath. The ceremony was conducted by Dr. Shri Bhagwan Singh and the vote of thanks was done by Dr. Arun Kumar Singh.
The center of attraction was the tableaus of Agniveer and Vantangi
Among the tableaux taken out during the procession, the tableaux of Agniveers and Vantangis were the center of attraction. Seeing the children dressed as fire fighters, the chief guest and his wife also started clapping. Similarly, people got up from their places to see the children dressed as Vantangis.
