New Delhi: The condition of the Congress across the country is critical. There was a massive defeat of the Congress in Gujarat. In the last election, the BJP has won 77 seats, while the Congress has won only 17 seats. That’s why it is difficult to get the post of opposition leader in the Congress Legislative Assembly. At least 10 percent seats are required to get the post of opposition leader in the assembly. There are a total of 182 seats in the Legislative Assembly of Gujarat.

The Congress, which lost Gujarat, gained power in Himachal Pradesh. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel started working as an inspector in Himachal Pradesh. Congress’s performance in Baghel’s Chhattisgarh has been excellent. In 2018, the Congress government came to power in the state. Bhupesh Baghel became the Chief Minister.
