The dead body of a sari trader kidnapped from Varanasi was found on Saturday in Adalpura Pump Canal of Chunar Kotwali. On information, the Varanasi police reached with the family members of the businessman. Saree businessman Mahmood Alam, resident of Bhelupur, left the house at 3 o’clock on January 14, then did not return.
On the possibility of kidnapping, his son Faizan gave Tahrir in Bhelupur police station. Bhelupur police had started searching for the businessman. Police revealed the kidnapping and murder of the businessman. Five people, including a woman, were arrested in the case. The accused had admitted that after strangling the businessman to death, the body was thrown into the Ganges at Chunar. Due to this, the Varanasi police was searching for the dead body here in the Ganges.
A dead body was found stuck in Adalpura Pump Canal of Chunar on Saturday morning. The villagers informed the Chunar police about this. CO Chunar Manjari Rao, Kotwal Chunar Triveni Lal Sen reached the spot along with the police force and got the body taken out. This was informed to the Varanasi Police.
