New Delhi/Mumbai. According to the big news from Maharashtra, Mumbai Police Crime Branch today detained a suspect in connection with the leak of Class 12 Maths question paper of Maharashtra Board.

It is worth noting that in the HSC examination, on the morning of last Friday i.e. March 3, the news of Maths paper being leaked from an examination center in Sindhkhed tehsil of Buldhana came in the media. It was also claimed that the paper was circulating in WhatsApp groups half an hour before the commencement of the exam.

The news was that this paper was leaked from one of the four examination centers in Sindhkhed tehsil. After this, the police immediately got involved in its investigation.

In the related case, a case was registered against unknown people at Sindkhed Raja police station in Buldhana. The police is engaged in investigation and inquiry in this regard. Later, the matter was also raised by opposition leader Ajit Pawar and former school education minister Varsha Gaikwad in the budget session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.

But the Maharashtra Board had made it clear that the paper leak has not been confirmed, so there is no question of re-conducting the Maths exam.
