NCC Group, Gorakhpur got second position in state level inter group competition held in Ghaziabad. CM Yogi Adityanath met all the 48 cadets who achieved this success at Gorakhnath temple and encouraged them.
The Chief Minister congratulated all the army officers present there including Group Commander Brigadier Deepender Rawat, Deputy Group Commander Colonel RR Chandel, Commanding Officer of 44 Battalion Colonel Satish Kumar Kanwar, Subedar Prashant Singh for giving excellent training to the cadets.
Group Commander of NCC Group Gorakhpur, Brigadier Deepender Rawat said that we all are feeling proud after meeting and encouraging the Chief Minister. The morale of all the cadets has been boosted by this meeting.
Brigadier Rawat told that out of these 48 cadets, 11 cadets including Prahlad Singh, Shiv Kumar Sahni, Sundaram Kumar Ddhivedi, Harish Tiwari, Koshal Ojha, Shivani Yadav, Preeti Yadav, Nidhi Soni, Srajal Shrestha and Anshika Pandey will be selected next year. Republic Day parade has taken place.
Cadets will salute the President in the Republic Day parade: Colonel Chandel
Deputy Commander Colonel RR Chandel informed that 11 of these cadets will salute His Excellency the President at the Republic Day Parade. This information was given by Madan Murari Shukla, media in-charge of NCC Group Headquarters.
