SP national president Akhilesh Yadav has objected to the reduction in the security of Praspa leader Shivpal Singh Yadav. He tweeted that it is objectionable to reduce the security category of Shivpal Singh Yadav.
Responding to this, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that Shivpal Singh Yadav was in danger from nephew Akhilesh Yadav and criminals of SP, now both of them have reconciled, so the big threat to security has been averted, yet Y category security is available to him. If they have any security problem, inform them, after investigation, action will be taken as per rules.

Akhilesh Yadav has also responded to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath calling Shivpal a pendulum. He said that the pendulum is a symbol of the movement of time and it also indicates the change of time for everyone and also says that there is nothing constant on which to be proud.
Shivpal Singh Yadav is campaigning in favor of Dimple Yadav and seeking votes for her in the by-election for Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat. He has erased his distance from Akhilesh Yadav and said that the family is one.
Shivpal is an MLA from SP ticket but from time to time, talking about strengthening his party Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party, he has been hinting to separate from Akhilesh, but now he is supporting Dimple Yadav and appealing her to win.
