The Senior National Open Ranking Wrestling Tournament started today at Nandini Nagar in Gonda district. This event will last for three days. Despite controversies and allegations, the tournament was inaugurated by Wrestling Federation of India President and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. He was present in the program since morning.
Today, a large number of women and men wrestlers from all over the country have reached Nandini Nagar to participate in the stadium. In the three-day tournament, men’s freestyle and Greco-Roman and women’s freestyle matches will be held in all weight categories of wrestling.
Despite power seizure as the President of Wrestling Association, MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh is on stage and his son Gonda Sadar MLA Prateek Bhushan Singh, Wrestling Association Vice President Karan Bhushan Singh, BJP MLAs Ajay Singh and Palturam have their full participation during this period.
