In Jaunpur, an old couple waiting for a bus died while mother-daughter were seriously injured in Katghar village on Ramnagar-Bhagasa road under Sarpathan police station area. All the victims of the accident were residents of Sultanpur district. After getting the information, the police reached the spot and are taking necessary action.
Ramanayan Gautam (70), a resident of Calipar village under Akhand Nagar police station area of Sultanpur, along with his wife Ashrafi Gautam (65), had come to join Tilak at his in-laws’ place in Suithakalan village on Friday at Basudev Gautam’s place. At eight o’clock on Saturday morning, both the men were waiting for the bus at Ghamhakpura Minor in Katghar village to go back home. Meanwhile, the husband and wife died after being hit by the speeding Scorpions coming from Bhagasa. While two Tara Bind (15) daughter Ram Sureman and Shakuntala Bind (35) wife Ram Sureman were seriously injured. Both the injured are in a mother-daughter relationship, they had also come to attend the Manglik program at their relative Jaggu Bind’s place in Suithakalan village. According to the police, Ram Nayan and his wife Ashrafi died on the way to Shahganj hospital. Whereas Shakuntala and Tara were admitted to the hospital for treatment.
