In view of the preparations for the G-20, the Municipal Corporation has got Rs 4 crore. With this amount, the work of beautification of the city will start soon. Help of local organizations will be taken in beautifying the city. Several organizations have been contacted for this. All flyovers and foot overbridges falling between Babatpur Airport to BHU will be decorated.
Landscaping work will be done by the Municipal Corporation in the city. Apart from this, there is a plan to get work related to horticulture done. Trees will be planted along the road. There will be arrangement of attractive lighting and fountains at major intersections. Facade lighting will be done at Ganga ghats. Not only this, a complete action plan has been prepared for branding the city. Tender has been floated for all these works. Soon all these works will start. For this, a meeting has been held at the Municipal Corporation level. Assigned the responsibility of carrying out different tasks. In the first phase, the work of removing encroachments from the city is being done. Municipal Commissioner Pranay Singh said that Rs 20 crore had been demanded for the preparations for the G-20. Just received four crore rupees. Tender has been done. Beautification works will be done from Babatpur to Vishwanath Temple, Rudraksh Convention Center to BHU with the money received.
