Kaushambi police arrested the ambulance driver of Mirzapur in an encounter on Thursday, accused of forcibly converting and killing a girl living in a live-in relationship for opposing it. He was living here in a live-in relationship with Chanda Singh (35) of Mau district. The ambulance driver is married. He kept Chanda in a rented house in Kaushambi.
He lived in the government house found in Gursandi PHC in Mirzapur. Chanda used to come to Mirzapur. He had brought Chanda a week ago. Told his companions that she was his wife. He has got blood cancer. Probably on the night of February 13, he strangulated Chanda to death.
