A camp office has been set up at Dhanraj Giri-2 Hostel for the ten-day pre-placement drive. On Wednesday, Training and Placement Officer Prof. Preparations continued throughout the day under the supervision of Sushant Kumar Srivastava. The details related to the placement were explained to the students. Pro. Sushant told that this time 1556 students have registered for pre placement. A company has offered an annual package of Rs 1.20 crore. The process of interviewing the students has started. By Thursday afternoon, detailed information about the successful students will start. Told that 330 students have got offers in pre placement. Companies coming this time include Graviton, Tolaram, Uber, KP Morgan, Microsoft etc.
Lots of companies to offer
There are plenty of companies to make offers to the students at IIT BHU. Pro. Sushant Srivastava says that this time more companies are coming. 389 companies have given their consent, whereas on an average only 300 to 325 companies come. Three international companies are also coming in this. Talks are on with the rest. Students will be interviewed by the companies. All the students have been informed by the placement cell. Along with this, other preparations including high speed internet service have also been completed.
