Once planted, it gives fruit for 20 years.

Pradeep Chaudhary told that after listening to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s program ‘Mann Ki Baat’, he got inspired to cultivate dragon fruit. In the program, the Prime Minister had told that a large number of people are cultivating dragon fruit in Gujarat.

Pradeep Chaudhary told that for the cultivation of dragon fruit, the soil should be well plowed. After that, the soil should be leveled and organic manure should be applied. The cuttings from the dragon fruit tree are planted in friable soil.
A pit about 70 cm deep and 60 cm wide is dug for planting the plants. At the time of planting the pen, 100 grams of super phosphate should be applied after soil. A cement pole is installed next to it. The creeper spreads on it. The fruits start coming in a year. The good thing is that there is no disease in it.
