PM Modi Birth Day: Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 72 today on 17 September 2022. Let us tell you that on 26 May 2014, Narendra Modi took oath for the first time as the Prime Minister of the country. Eight years of his government’s tenure have been completed. During this, PM Modi took many big decisions for the benefit of the public. Today, on the occasion of his 72nd birthday, we are telling you about some of the major schemes launched by him (PM Modi Schemes), which are getting tremendous benefit to the common man.

1. PM Kisan: The Modi government had started the ‘PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana’ in the year 2018. Under this scheme, a small and middle class farmer is given an assistance of Rs 6000 every year in three installments by the government. This amount is given directly into the account of the farmer after two thousand rupees at an interval of four months. Crores of farmers are getting the benefit of this.

2. Sukanya Samriddhi Yojna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Sukanya Samridhi Yojana in 2015. This scheme is for girls. This scheme is being run under the post office. Under this scheme, parents of daughters below the age of 10 years can open this account in the name of their daughter. Under Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, 7.8 percent interest is available annually. Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana matures in 21 years.

3. Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana: The ‘Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana’ was launched by the Modi government in the year 2016. The objective of this scheme is to provide free gas connections to the poor. Under this scheme, free gas connections were made available to low-income households. Till now crores of poor have got the benefit of this scheme.

4. PM Jan Dhan Yojana: In 2014, the Modi government had started ‘Jan-Dhan Yojana’ to connect the common people with banking. Under this scheme accounts of more than 44 crore people have been opened so far. The biggest advantage of Jan Dhan account is that there is no charge for depositing or withdrawing money in this account.

5. PM Mudra Loan Scheme: The ‘Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana’ (PMMY) was launched by the Modi government in the year 2015. Under this scheme, a loan of up to Rs 10 lakh is given to start employment. Explain that loans are being given under the Mudra scheme through commercial banks, cooperative banks, regional rural banks, micro finance institutions (MFIs) and NBFCs. Millions of people across the country are getting its benefits.
