Thieves broke the lock of the sanctum sanctorum of the Sankata Mata temple located in Shivpur Banwaripur village on the triangle and reached inside the mother. Mother’s silver crown was stolen. The chief priest of the temple, Murari Maharaj, on Thursday evening gave a complaint in connection with the theft of the crown against unknown thieves at Vindhyachal police station. Told that after performing evening aarti in the temple, he used to lock the temple and go home everyday. In the morning, when Aarti Shringar came for worship, he saw that the lock of the temple was broken and the door was open. There was no silver crown on the mother’s head. Came out and informed people around. After this, the information about the theft of the crown was given to the police. On the basis of Tahrir, the police started searching for the thieves. Station in-charge Atul Rai told that the priest of Sankata temple has informed about the theft of the crown. Which is being investigated. Soon the thief will be caught.
