On Sunday evening, women will offer arghya to the setting sun at the ghat. At the same time, Arghya will be offered to the rising sun on Monday morning.
The preparations were finalized at Surya Sarovar of Bareka and other kunds of the city. The ghat was cleaned, where devotees built altars. Today fasting women will offer Arghya to the setting sun. In such a situation, along with the Ganges Ghats, the ponds, ponds and lakes of the city have been decorated. In the houses, there will be events in the swimming pool and in some houses. The fasting women will worship for the happiness and prosperity of the family.

Method of offering Arghya to Sun God
- In Chhath Puja, Sun God and Chhathi Maiya are worshipped.
- On Shashthi Tithi, put all the worship materials in bamboo sticks and keep them in the soup.
- Now take the dala and go to the river, pond or any ghat.
- After this, after entering a river, pond, ghat or any water, offer obeisance to the Sun God and Chhathi Maiya in your mind.
- Now offer arghya to the setting sun.
- While offering Arghya to the Sun, chant the mantra “Ehi Surya Sahastransho Tejorashe Jagatpate, Compassionate Mother Goddess Grihanarghyam Diwakar”.
