Dinesh Parihar, a resident of Vijay Gadhi, said that when I first got information about Kinnu and Moushumi, we started kinnow and seasonal horticulture in 45 bighas of land by spending two lakh rupees. Today Kinnu and Moushumi are earning good money. Earlier we used to do traditional farming, in which a lot of money had to be invested.

Double profit in kinnow and seasonal cultivation

He told that after the help of the state government, we got the seedlings of Kinnow and Mausami planted for the first time in 2017. After that there was good yield. The climate of Uttar Pradesh is suitable for kinnow and seasonal cultivation. Now we are taking double benefit by cultivating potato and wheat among the plants in it.

Sowing is done in September-October

It is sown in September to October to prepare kinnow and seasonal plants. It is sown in a raised bed, which is two to three meters long, two feet wide and 15 to 20 cm high from the ground. Germinate after three to four weeks of sowing.

In the beginning, while planting Kinnow and Mausami, they had to put in a lot of effort for maintenance and upkeep. Wheat and potato were also cultivated continuously among the plants. At the same time, the size of the plants increased and fruits started coming. From which now he is earning good profit. Dinesh is also motivating the people of his village and area to plant kinnow and seasonal orchards.
