The film has not only broken its record for the highest advance booking for a single day, but has also created the record for the highest advance booking of a film in a non-opening weekend.

Brahmastra has clearly made a mark in advance booking in the screening of films on Friday. According to multiple sources, 9 lakh tickets have been sold for this film till Thursday afternoon. This figure is more than 7.76 lakh tickets sold on its first Sunday. Brahmastra has made this record for making the most advance booking of any Hindi film in the non-opening weekend. According to Sacnilk, ‘9.25 lakh tickets have been sold for Brahmastra till Thursday afternoon, thus making the film a collection of 8.3 crores through advance booking. Several shows of the film went housefull by Wednesday morning and since then many shows have joined the ranks. Advance booking of 1.63 lakh tickets for Sunny Deol’s Chup

Sunny Deol and Dulquer Salmaan starrer ‘Chup’ has also benefited from reduction in ticket prices and the film has managed to sell over 1.5 lakh tickets in advance booking. This is the highest number of advance bookings for a Hindi film this year. According to the Sacnilk website, as of Thursday afternoon, Chup has earned ₹ 1.42 crore in advance booking. Till now 1.63 lakh tickets have been sold for the film. The same Hollywood film ‘Avatar Re-Release’ has earned Rs 91 lakh (net) by booking 65,000 tickets in advance.
