Former General Secretary of Murli Manohar Town Degree College and student leader Manan Dubey died of electrocution on Saturday at Nidhariya Nai Basti residence on Gadwa Road. As soon as the news of the student leader’s death due to electrocution came, a crowd of well-wishers gathered at the district hospital. Everyone was left speechless by the death of Manan Dubey.

Manish Dubey alias Manan Dubey, a resident of Ghazipur’s Amwa village, had been the General Secretary of Murli Manohar Town Degree College. Apart from this, he had also held various positions in the Samajwadi Party. Manan Dubey was doing cleaning work on the terrace on Saturday morning at his present residence at Nidhariya Nai Basti of Gadwar Road. Meanwhile, the HD line passing over the roof came under the grip. Due to this he died. Expressing condolences on the death of Manan Dubey, the Samajwadi Party has paid an emotional tribute on its Twitter handle.
