In a village under Sahawar police station area of Kasganj, the husband went to his in-laws house and pronounced triple talaq after beating his wife. The wife has filed a case against her husband and four other in-laws. The police is probing the matter.
Shabina’s daughter Yasin, a resident of Dhansinghpur village under Sahawar police station area, was married to Quarsi Aligarh, a resident of Farhan. Since marriage, husband and in-laws were torturing Shabina for dowry. The parents of the woman explained to the husband and in-laws several times, but they kept on making their demands. The dowry harassment case lodged against the woman is pending in the court.
On January 29, husband Farhan and four family members reached the wife’s house and assaulted her. The husband pronounced triple talaq to the woman. The woman complained about the matter to the police. Police did not take any action. After this a complaint was made to the police jurisdictional. On the orders of the jurisdictional officer, a report was lodged against the husband and four other in-laws. The police is probing the matter.
Station in-charge Siddharth Tomar said that a case has been registered against the accused on the orders of the CO. Investigation is going on. Action will be taken on the basis of the facts that will come out in the investigation.
