A 22-year-old youth died of cold on Friday morning in Amwa Mafi village of Gopiganj Kotwali in Bhadohi. As soon as the information about the death of the grandson came, the grandmother could not tolerate this shock and she also died. There was uproar in the house due to two simultaneous deaths.

It is told that Rahul Gupta (22 years), son of Bablu Gupta, resident of Amwa Mafi, was a student of second year BSC. Due to vomiting late on Thursday night, the family members admitted him to Gopiganj Private Hospital. When the condition worsened, the doctors referred the young man to Bhadohi. The young man died late night during treatment. On the other hand, on receiving information about the death of the grandson, the student’s grandmother Kesha Devi (55) wife Sadanand Gupta could not tolerate the shock and she too died. Where there was chaos in the family due to two deaths in the same family. There was an atmosphere of mourning in the village as well.

Rahul Gupta was the elder of two brothers. Rahul’s father does a private job in Hyderabad and mother and younger brother also live with the father. After getting the information of the death, father and mother left for the village. In the same case, former village head Nandlal Pandey demanded cooperation from the district administration.
