The fake inspector asked the driver to get the checking done after stopping the van. Then pulled Ridan and put him in his car. Three people and a woman went away with the child. The van driver got suspicious. He made noise. On this the surrounding villagers came. They surrounded Vivek and Gaurav wearing the uniform that came from the other car. UP 112 police reached on information. The police laid siege on the information about the kidnapping of the child.
Ridan was recovered safely along with the woman by stopping the car near Shikohabad railway station in Firozabad. The child has been handed over to his mother. The police have registered a case against the accused in kidnapping, cheating, assault and other sections. Everyone was sent to jail. Among the arrested accused are the child’s father Gaurav, grandmother Vandana and father’s friend Vivek Tripathi. Vinita’s family told that even six months back, Gaurav had tried to kidnap the son from the house. There was no one in the house then. He came home. He started taking the son away. CO Pinahat Amardeep Pal told that the child’s father Gaurav Sikarwar had come in the car. Friend Vivek Tripathi was also with him. Vivek is a resident of Indra Nagar located in Thana Ranatpur of Kanpur Nagar. Gaurav’s mother Vandana Singh also came along. Gaurav told during interrogation that he wanted to take the son with him. The wife is not ready. So planned to take him by the wayside. He had dressed his friend Vivek in police uniform. His acquaintances had come to kidnap Mohit, Bhuri and Karmaveer along with them. Son was sent along with mother Vandana. But people got involved. He was caught. The mother was later caught by the police.

No criminal history has been found for Vivek and Gaurav. Both are friends. Studied together from class eight. Both did B.Tech from Kanpur. Presently both are working as engineers in HCL Company of Noida. During interrogation, it was told that he had brought two uniforms from Chhipitola for ten thousand rupees. A uniform was kept in the car, on which two stars were placed. On the other there were three stars. Name plates were also put on them. No ID seen for purchase of uniform. Vivek had also brought a revolver. He told that the van driver did not protest after seeing the police. That’s why he came as a policeman. On the spot, some people asked him whose uniform it was, then he started telling the CO’s, while the uniform was of the Inspector.
