Samajwadi Party National President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav did a road show in Karhal on Friday evening in support of SP candidate Dimple Yadav in the by-election of Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat. SP’s roadshow started from Jain Inter College and ended at Dimple’s election office on Mainpuri Road. Whereas Dimple Yadav addressed the public meeting in Bevar.
The road show, which came out with SP flags and a long convoy of vehicles, was visible in the entire SP. In the roadshow, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav was riding on an open jeep and greeting people with folded hands. During this, he stopped near the residence of Peeli Kothi, former MLA Anil Yadav and former DCB President Dr. Ramkumar Yadav and Ahimsa Petrol Pump and got down from the jeep and joined hands with the people and appealed to them to give historic victory to Dimple.
He garlanded the statue of Chaudhary Natthusingh Yadav at Ambedkar Park in Mohalla Jatwan and at Kishni Chauraha. In the road show, Akhilesh Yadav expressed confidence that the people of Karhal will give a historic victory to Dipal in this by-election. Former MLC Arvind Pratap Singh, MLC Mukul Yadav, MLA Sardhana Atul Pradhan, Block chief Barnahal Neeraj Yadav also participated in the road show.
Mainpuri was transformed by Netaji: Dimple
In Bevar, SP candidate and former MP Dimple Yadav said that it was Netaji who transformed Mainpuri. All the development seen in the district is due to the socialists. BJP should tell what it has done for the development of Mainpuri. The result of the Lok Sabha by-election will decide the direction of the country’s politics. The SP candidate was addressing the workers in Bevar area on Friday.
He said that this is the first election in which Netaji is not among us. The development work done by Netaji will always be remembered by him. Netaji was made by Netaji Mainpuri only. When he became an MP for the first time, he became the Defense Minister of the country. While being the Defense Minister, many memorable decisions were taken for the soldiers and their families. Netaji gave recognition to Mainpuri in the politics of the country. Old people know how the Lok Sabha constituency was 40 years back. Mainpuri has been transformed only because of Netaji’s efforts.
Said that the Samajwadi government always talked about the farmers and the youth. Gave employment to the youth. Unemployment allowance was also given to those who did not get employment.
