The length is 1.3 km, so it is 35 meters higher than the Eiffel Tower, an attraction in Paris. This bridge will provide an important connectivity between Katra and Banihal at a distance of 111 km. This bridge is part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Railway Link (USBRL) project. The estimated cost of the project is 21 thousand 653 crores.

‘USBRL Prakalpacha Andri Ek Malacha Dagd! The work of pouring Chenab Pulawar sand has started. Once this work is completed, the pool will open up new possibilities for the remote areas of Jammu and Kashmir,’ such tweets were made by the Ministry of Railways. The bridge between Bakkal and Kauri, 42 km from Reasi town, was completed in November, 2017 with steel and concrete piers. Due to this, the construction of the main shaft will start in April, 2021. Another loose stone on the bridge got stuck in August last year.

The part of the arch of the bridge was completed. Because of this, the way to rule was opened. In the year 2004, the work of bridge dam started. But in view of frequent high winds, they were postponed in the year 2008-09 considering the safety of railway passengers. It has come to earn the bridge. Once the pool is full, Tashi will be able to withstand winds blowing at speeds up to 260 km. His life span was 120 years, the officials gave such information.
