The clue of a 16-year-old girl missing from a village under Sindhauli police station area of Shahjahanpur could not be found even on the second day. The police have received a letter from the sweater of the teenager, in which it is written about drowning in the river after being chased by a boy from the village itself.
Police has also found lota, vermilion, belpatra and other items on the banks of Sharda Canal. Police claim that the teenager has eloped with someone. To mislead, an attempt has been made to give another form to the incident.
The class eight student had gone missing on Monday. During the search, the police had recovered the student’s sweater and slippers from the Damgada bridge of Sharda canal passing near the village. On Tuesday morning, on the complaint of the father, the police registered an FIR of kidnapping against an unknown person.
According to the father, a letter has been found in the sweater. In this, it has been written about drowning in the river after chasing the youth of the village. The letter has been written with a red pen. According to the father, a lota, vermilion, bel patra etc. have also been found on the banks of the Sharda canal.
