Women’s Day 2023: Namami Gange performed aarti of Lakshmi Bai, ideal for women

Namami Gange prayed for equal opportunities, leadership, happy coordination and good health for women on International Women’s Day by performing the aarti of Rani Lakshmibai, an ideal for women. Tributes were paid to the courage and valor of Maharani Lakshmi Bai, who taught India the lesson of fearlessness and showed the path to immortality.
Namami Gange Kashi area convenor Rajesh Shukla said that Rani Laxmibai was one such personality who not only inspired people during her lifetime but till date she is an inspiration for all of us. It is said that a woman, who even after losing her husband and son at the age of just 25, has the courage to challenge the British for war, she will undoubtedly remain an inspiration for every human being. Women members of Namami Gange were felicitated during the event. At the birth place of Veerangana Lakshmi Bai, the message of “Sabka saath ho Ganga saaf ho” was also given. An appeal was made to all for the cleanliness of the banks of the Ganga. Mainly the convenors of Namami Gange Kashi area Rajesh Shukla, Pushpalata Verma, Beena Gupta, Sarika Gupta, Kirtan Baranwal were present.
