During the Holi procession in Moradabad’s Sambhal on Wednesday, there was a ruckus between the two sides. There was heavy stone pelting from both the sides. Three people each from both sides were injured in this. The injured have been admitted to hospital. The whole controversy is about the DJ playing an objectionable song. At present, there is an atmosphere of tension in the area and police is deployed as a precautionary measure.
There was fierce fighting and stone pelting between the two sides at around 11.30 am on Wednesday morning in Sisouna Danda village of Rajpura police station area. The controversy took place over the objectionable song being played by the DJ in the Holi procession. A procession was being taken out in the village by playing DJ. People from the other side objected to the song playing on the DJ as objectionable. Meanwhile, both the sides came face to face and stone pelting took place along with the fight.
