The husband shot dead his wife in the presence of the police this morning in Bhahai village of Mathura. The bullet was hit on the forehead. The woman died on the spot. The accused absconded after the incident. SSP inspected the spot.

Sonia (29), wife of Ganga Singh, resident of village Bhahai, had eloped with her lover for eight months. About two months ago, the police arrested the lover and sent him to jail. In this case, a report was lodged against nine people. On Tuesday morning, there was a dispute between husband and wife over some issue. Wife called 112. Police reached the village. The woman was talking to the policemen.

The woman started walking with the police to register her complaint. That’s why the husband raised the voice of leaving the clothes in the house. When Sonia entered the house, the husband shot Sonia on her forehead. He died on the spot. After executing the incident, the accused husband Ganga Singh fled from the spot.

Police looking for husband
As soon as the information was received, SSP Shailesh Pandey along with the police team reached the spot. SP City MP Singh told that the police was standing outside the house at the time of the incident. There was a dispute between the woman and her husband. The husband has killed the woman inside the house. Surveillance and SOG teams have been deployed to arrest the accused.
