The body of B-Pharma student Sangam Yadav (23) was found lying on the roadside in Bithoor, Kanpur on Sunday morning. He was identified from the mobile of the deceased and the police informed the family members. The relatives have registered a case against the unknown suspecting murder. The police have started interrogation by detaining five friends who studied with the deceased. In which he has claimed that Sangam fell from the terrace during the party, due to which he died. Police is probing all the points. Udesh Kumar, a resident of Karimullapur village of Chibramau in Kannauj, is the head constable in PAC. Presently posted in Jhansi district. His elder son Shivam is a constable in Mahoba. Younger son Sangam Yadav (23) was studying B-Pharma second year from Rama Medical College, Mandhana. He lived in his house at Madhavpuram Gooba Garden.
There are other tenants in the house as well. Sangam had left the house on Saturday night. He did not return in the night. His body was found lying on the roadside near Gorha village of Bithoor on Sunday morning. ACP Kalyanpur Vikas Kumar Pandey told that the case has been registered. The details of his mobile number are being extracted. Action will be taken on the basis of the facts that will come out.
When the police investigated, it was found that Sangam had spoken to his brother over the phone at around eight o’clock in the night. Had a phone conversation with friend Abhishek Pandey at around 8.30 pm. After that he went to Abhishek’s room. When the police picked up Abhishek, he told that he along with nine friends were partying on New Year’s Eve.
Meanwhile everyone was on the terrace. Suddenly Sangam fell down from the roof. When he reached down, he saw that Sangam had died. The students claim that they were scared of getting trapped, so they dumped the body on the roadside.
Sangam’s body was found lying face down. The buttons of the shirt were open. His shoes were lying nearby. He had a broken leg and arm. There were many other marks on the body as well. The relatives demanded a post-mortem by a panel of doctors. After which DM’s permission could be obtained late at night. The post-mortem of the dead body will be done after midnight. Due to which the cause of death will be clear.
