The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rains over South Karnataka and North Tamil Nadu for the next 24 hours. There is a possibility of light to moderate rains only in Karnataka, Kerala and rest of Lakshadweep. Light rain may occur at one or two places in Telangana. Light rain is likely over South Odisha, Vidarbha, Marathwada and South Central Maharashtra. There may be light rain and snowfall in Ladakh, Jammu-Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. After snowfall for the second consecutive day in the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh, minimum temperature was recorded and in most places it went above the freezing point. Snowfall is expected to continue today.

In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the minimum temperature can be 12 degrees and the maximum temperature can be 27 degrees. It is expected to remain cloudy in the morning. The minimum temperature in Ghaziabad can be recorded at 11 degrees and maximum temperature at 25 degrees. In Ghaziabad itself, it was sunny in the morning and the sky remained clear during the day.
