UP Police is known for its promptness, bravery and honesty. A recent example of this was seen in Varanasi. Where the police got back the laptop of a visitor within 48 hours. The person not only tweeted in praise of the Kashi Police but also thanked them from the bottom of his heart. This tweet of the visitor is now becoming quite viral and the Varanasi Police is being praised everywhere.
What is the matter?
Actually, Mohan Bachu, director of Accenture Solution India Pvt Ltd, had come to Varanasi to visit Kashi Vishwanath Dham where his laptop was left in an e-rickshaw. Mohan Bachu told the whole incident through tweet. He wrote- ‘I had come to Kashi with my family to have Baba’s darshan. Where late night my office laptop was left in an auto. I immediately went to Laksa police station, this was the first time I went to police station to file a case. UP Police not only helped me in filing the case but also asked me for tea and water.
I was very impressed by his behaviour. Station Officer Suraj Tiwari assured me that his team would try their best and get his laptop back to him before he returns. His team (SI Anil Singh, Constable Shani Yadav and Constable Ayush Kushwaha) immediately started tracing the auto and also scanned the CCTV footage.
I was impressed to see how the police were doing their job using technology for our safety. By next morning the auto-tracing was done and by evening my laptop was with me. I heard many times about the efficiency of UP Police but this was my first experience which was very pleasant. I would like to thank the UP Police for their selfless service to the public and their friendly behaviour.
