Station master posted at Varanasi’s Kashi station along with wife and child have died in suspicious circumstances. The bodies of all three were found at the railway residence. As soon as the news of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and are probing the matter from every angle.
ESM Rajeev Ranjan Patel (33) and his wife, a two and a half year old innocent child, posted in the signal department at Kashi railway station, died in suspicious circumstances. The dead body was found lying on the bed in the railway accommodation itself. Adampur police and forensic team reached the information and investigated. Rail union leaders and a large number of railway workers also reached.
Bihar Nalanda resident Rajeev Ranjan Patel (33) was posted at Kashi station of Northern Railway for the last seven-eight years. Rajiv Ranjan Patel (33), working on the post of ESM in the Railway’s Telecom Department, lived in the railway colony near the station along with his wife Annu (30) and two and a half year old innocent son Harsh. Rajiv was on duty since 7 am on Sunday. On not reaching the station, fellow railwaymen reached Rajeev’s residence and the door did not open for a long time. After this, the railwaymen informed the RPF. RPF entered inside by breaking the door. All three were found dead inside the room lying on the bed. As soon as this information was received, other fellow railwaymen
also reached. Adampur police, forensic team also reached and investigated. The companions are shocked by the sudden death. Adampur Inspector Ajit Verma told that the post-mortem of the dead body will be done. The relatives of the railway personnel have also been informed. The relatives have left.
