A new course on Artificial Intelligence (Specialized Training and Certification) is being started at Banaras Hindu University (BHU). The six-month course under the Department of Computer Science will start from February 1. Online registration can be done from 12 to 25 January. Admission will be done on the basis of entrance test for 100 seats. This is a free course. The university will launch new courses specifically aimed at training students and working professionals to be applied scientists and data scientists.
Introduction to Big Data, Statistical Concepts and Applications, Statistical Tools, Data Import and Pre Processing, Exploring and Manipulating Data, Data Structures and Algorithms, Graph and String Algorithms, Artificial Neural Networks are covered.
Course strategy was made in 2018
Training will be conducted by university professors and industry experts. Prof of Computer Science Dept. Vivek Singh pointed out that Artificial Intelligence has now become an important technology with national importance and wide applications in various fields.
In 2018, NITI Aayog formulated its strategy. In this context, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has approved the Computer Science Department of BHU to organize training programs. This training will be given to students and individuals who are either working or willing to work in the target sectors.
