President Murmu’s first visit to Kashi will be on Monday. Rehearsals were done from Babatpur airport to the city. The fleet of VIP vehicles kept running for a long time while playing hooters. During this, the security arrangements on the entire route remained tight. Kashi has got ready to welcome the President. While the red carpet has been laid for his reception at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham, the Aarti at Ganga Ghat to be held in his presence will also be very special.

Eight IPS will take charge of the security of President Draupadi Murmu, who is coming to the ancient city for the first time. Everyone’s duty has been assigned at different places. Along with this, the non-gazetted police personnel deployed in the President’s security system were informed about their duty in the police line.

Vigil on every step from airport to Dashashwamedh Ghat

Security preparations were finalized on Sunday in view of the arrival of President Draupadi Murmu in the city. During the arrival of the President, from Babatpur Airport to Dashashwamedh Ghat, there will be strict vigilance as well as vigilance at every step. The traffic on the route through which his convoy will pass will be stopped 15 minutes in advance. Commissioner of Police Mutha Ashok Jain told the officers in the police line that there should be no lapses at any level regarding security and traffic arrangements as well as monitoring.
