In protest against this, former councilor Shahid Ali demonstrated in a unique way on Monday. They staged a sit-in by lying down in the water flowing in the pit. Shahid Ali said that even after complaining about the drinking water line leaking for several days, no hearing is being held. Because of this, the road from Benia, New Road to Lagda Hafiz Masjid has become slippery. Said that due to this negligence of Jalkal Sansthan, there is a problem in commuting.
This has angered the local people. On the other hand, due to leakage in the pipeline, hundreds of liters of drinking water is being wasted every day. Due to this, the apathy of the departmental officials regarding the water crisis is being exposed.
