Amit Bhartiya (17), a resident of Sonia Basti under Sigra police station of Varanasi, committed suicide by hanging himself under suspicious circumstances. On Wednesday morning, when the relatives saw the dead body hanging from the noose, they came to know about the incident. The reason for the suicide is not clear. Police reached the information and sent the dead body for postmortem. The relatives are in bad condition by crying.
Amit used to sell vegetables on a cart. He was perfectly fine till Tuesday night. According to family members, after dinner, Amit went to sleep in his room. Father Rajkumar Bhartiya went to his room when he did not wake up till late in the morning. Seeing the sight of the place, he screamed. His son’s body was hanging from the noose. There was chaos in the whole family.
On information, the police of Sigra police station reached the spot. The forensic team also collected evidence. No suicide note was found from the spot. Police sent the dead body for postmortem. Why did Amit take such a suicidal step, the police is probing it.
