A youth was killed and two people were injured in a road accident on Friday in Sabhaipur and Rakhona villages of Varanasi. The condition of both the injured admitted to BHU trauma center is said to be critical.
A speeding car collided with a sand-laden truck while overtaking on Ring Road in Sabhaipur village under Lohta police station.
Car driver Shubham Patel (28), a resident of Maniyaripur village, died in the accident. With the help of mobile found from Shubham, the police contacted his family members. Relatives told that married Shubham was the father of a child and used to drive a travel car. On the information of the police, the relatives reached Deendayal Hospital. The post-mortem of Shubham’s body will be done on Saturday.
At the same time, the driver of a truck suddenly applied brakes on the National Highway in Rakhona village under Mirzamurad police station. Due to this the truck running behind him collided with him. Mainpuri resident Viresh Kumar Yadav and Khalasi Rinku Yadav, the driver of the truck running behind, were seriously injured in the accident.
