On Friday evening, a woman riding a bike died after being hit by a truck near Ring Road Underpass in Rakhona, Varanasi. At the same time, brother-in-law, sister-in-law and seven-year-old son were injured. With the help of the people around, the police admitted the injured to the trauma center at BHU. All of them were returning from Chunar. Taking possession of the truck, the police took the driver into custody.
Baby Yadav (32), wife of Veerendra Yadav, resident of Bankat village under Lohta police station, along with his brother-in-law Nagendra Yadav, sister-in-law Sasikala and son Himanshu (7) had come on the same bike to mourn the death of the child at the cousin sister-in-law of Chunar. Nagendra Yadav was driving the bike.
While returning from Birsapur in Chunar, he had reached the Ring Road underpos located in Rakhona from Rajatalab that suddenly at 6.30 pm, the bike came under the grip of a truck going towards Prayagraj. As soon as the bike collided, Baby Yadav immediately came under the wheel of the truck and Sasikala, Himanshu, Nagendra fell on the road. The baby died on the spot itself.
Sub Inspector Rajkumar Chauhan sent all the injured to the hospital, where the doctors declared Baby Yadav brought dead. At the same time, the treatment of three others is going on. As soon as the news of the accident was received, there was panic among the family members. According to family members, Baby Yadav has two sons, Anuj (10) and Himanshu (7).
