The Jaitpura police on Wednesday arrested a young man and a woman who forced a minor girl into prostitution in Varanasi and sent them to jail. The girl has been recovered and handed over to her relatives. In fact, a person resident of Kajisadullapura filed a case in connection with the disappearance of his minor girl on February 12 at the Jaitpura police station.

When the police started investigating the matter, it was found that Kishori is in contact with Prakash Vishwakarma, a resident of Devkalpur police station, Kerakat (Jaunpur) and Prakash, along with one of his female friends, is forcing the minor into prostitution. On the information of the informer, the police arrested Prakash and his female friend from Kamalapati Tripathi Inter College, located near Cantt Railway Station.

On the tip of both, the police also recovered the girl and handed her over to her family members. Regarding the arrest, Inspector Jaitpura Mathura Rai said that the arrested Prakash and his female friend have been sent to jail after registering a case under relevant sections.
