Joe Biden Speech UNGA: US President Joe Biden, while addressing the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), attacked Russia fiercely over the Russia-Ukraine war. Biden said a key member of the UN Security Council attacked his neighbor, attempting to wipe a sovereign state off the map. Russia has shamelessly violated the basic principles of the Charter of the United Nations.
At the United Nations, Biden said Russia had “brazenly violated the basic spirit of the World Organization’s charter” by waging a “brutal and unnecessary war” in Ukraine. He said that on this day, President Putin made nuclear threats against Europe, being careless about the responsibilities of the non-proliferation regime. Russia is calling in more troops to join the fight. The Kremlin is holding a sham referendum to try to annex parts of Ukraine.

Joe Biden said that this war is about ending Ukraine’s right to exist as a state. Whoever you are, wherever you live, whatever you believe, whatever is happening will worry you. So 141 countries came together in the General Assembly and condemned Russia’s war against Ukraine.
“Cannot seize the territory of a country by force”
The US President said that like you, the United States wants this war to end on fair terms, on terms that we have all signed, that you cannot seize a country’s territory by force. Russia is the only country standing in this path.
